Frontier Airlines to begin nonstop flights from Buffalo to Myrtle Beach

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â Western New Yorkers will soon have a non-stop option for flying to South Carolina.
Frontier Airlines will begin service from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport on June 11. The low-cost airline will offer flights between the two cities twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
Frontier is offering introductory fares for as low as $39, although its base fare does not include a refund option, carry-on bag, checked luggage or a pre-reserved seating assignment. The promotional price is valid for travel through September 2 with blackout dates from June 30 to July 7.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Frontier Airlines officials announced Wednesday they are expanding service from Myrtle Beach to three additional cities in the northeast.
According to a press release, point-to-point service from Myrtle Beach International Airport to Buffalo, Providence and Portland, Maine will begin in June.
Service to Providence begins June 10, followed by flights to Buffalo on June 11 and routes to Portland on June 12, according to the release.
This brings the number of Frontier routes from MYR to seven.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach International Airport is looking to expand.
The airport is working on a 20-year plan that would more than double the number of gates, but some of the details of the plan are still a little “up in the air.”
“MYR is well above most every other airport in terms of recovery,” said Horry County Director of Airports Scott Van Moppes during a Myrtle Beach Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday.
