Rose died peacefully, after a short illness, at University Hospital Limerick. Beloved wife of the late Paul. Sadly missed by her loving family Kieran, Yvonne, Paul, Dave, Niall, Jacinta, Elaine & Daniel, brother David, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass in Corpus Christi Church, Moyross on Friday May 21st at 11am, which may be viewed online. Rose’s cortege will pass her residence on Cosgrave Ave, on way to the church at 10.45am. Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Sponsor a virtual sunflower to help support Limerick s Milford Hospice Reporter: );   ); TOGETHER for Hospice, the National Hospice Movement, has launched a Virtual Sunflower Remembrance Garden to help raise much needed funds. The online space has been created for people to dedicate a virtual sunflower in memory of a loved one, whilst helping to raise much-needed funds for local hospice and home care services in Limerick and throughout the country this June. The Virtual Sunflower Remembrance Garden campaign has been launched to raise funds for Hospice Sunflower Days, whilst also recognising the difficult year families and communities have faced.

Limerick s Milford Care Centre confirms details of Walk from a Distance fundraiser Reporter: news@limerickleader.ie Milford Care Centre’s Melissa Purcell, pictured at last year’s special blessing ceremony, is looking forward to placing the 2021 ribbons on the Memorial tree. );   ); MILFORD Care Centre has announced it s annual Memorial Walk will take place virtually again this year given the current public health guidelines. The ‘Walk from a Distance’ fundraiser will take place over five days between May 23 and May 27. Members of the public are being asked to support the event by completing a 5k walk in their own locality and in their own time, by doing 1km a day for five days. Those taking part are being encouraged to to pledge the usual entry fee of €20 per family via milfordcarecentre.ie.

Michael (Mickey) Finucane, Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Margaret, sister Bridie and his adored grandson Liam. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, son Hawlie, daughter Elaine, grandchildren Rachel, Ewyon and Bowie, daughter in law Breda, son in law Paudie, nephew, sister in law Kathleen and her husband Jim and family, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace. A private family funeral will take place for immediate family due to government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings.
