MPD: Man shot, wounded near 19th and Hampton in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday, Jan. 27 near 19th and Hampton.
The 37-year-old male victim told police an assailant approached him around 6 p.m., pointed a gun at him, and fired.
The victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.

ME responds to crash near 73rd and Capitol
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) One person is dead and another is hurt following a car vs. building crash N. 73rd St. and W. Capitol Dr., Friday morning, Jan. 22.
Authorities were called to the scene around 6:45 a.m., including the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner s Office.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, one victim was taken to a local hospital.
Milwaukee Police are currently on scene investigating the crash.
