MILWAUKEE, Wis. Megan Spindler of Gladstone was named to the Honors List at Milwaukee School of Engineering for the 2020 fall quarter.
Spindler is pursuing a bachelor of science in nursing degree.
Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the dean’s list. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive “high honors.” Undergraduate students on the Honors List have earned a GPA of at least 3.20 (out of 4.0) for this quarter and are not on the dean’s list.
Milwaukee School of Engineering is the university of choice for those seeking an inclusive community of experiential learners driven to solve the complex challenges of today and tomorrow. The independent, non-profit university has about 2,700 students and was founded in 1903. MSOE offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, business and nursing.

(MILWAUKEE) – Mariah Trevino of Ceres received academic honors from the Milwaukee School of Engineering for the 2020 Fall Quarter.
Trevino, who is working on her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, was named to the Dean’s List.

MILWAUKEE - With so many families and students working and learning from home, a group of 50 college students came together to make an impact on Milwaukee Public Schools and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

Volunteers are working together with the university s Create Institute to design and build desks for families in need.

The COVID-19 pandemic decimated travel across the globe, and Milwaukee’s first hostel was not immune to the effects. Cream City Hostel closed its doors earlier this year amidst the travel slowdown.
But the building at 500 E. Center St. didn’t go dark. Bader Philanthropies is backing a new cooperative housing model built from the hostel’s infrastructure. The organization is providing a low-interest $450,000 loan to support the building’s conversion and retire existing debt. Milwaukee Area Cohousing is providing support on the conversion.
