KUANTAN:The targeted travel bubble is seen to boost recovery of the tourism sector in Pahang, said state Tourism, Culture, Environment, Plantation and Commodities Committee chairman, Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin.
Without disclosing the number of tourist arrivals thus far, he said, apart from the state is being placed under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), various tourism products offered also attracted visitors.
“We have started receiving tourists from other states with procedures set and managed by travel agencies. One of the destinations is Cameron Highlands.

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry (MOH) is studying health-related technical and clinical data following a proposal to allow interstate travel for individuals who have completed the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

pix) said the proposal to grant interstate crossings had been discussed at the National Security Council (MKN) level with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin himself raising the matter.
“I agree with the Prime Minister. Interstate travel upon completion of vaccination should be allowed as an incentive to encourage the public to get their Covid-19 vaccine shots,” he told reporters at the prize-giving ceremony for MOH’s MyDebit campaign here today.

KOTA KINABALU (March 17): Sabah has allowed buffets at all hotels and accommodations with in-house restaurants during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period with strict adherence to the standard operating procedure (SOP).
State Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the SOPs include recording the presence of customers through the MySejahtera app, Sabah Trace or a notebook, besides getting customers to scan their body temperature and use a face mask while taking food.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) imposed on Kedah, Perak and Negeri Sembilan will be changed to Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) from Friday until March 31. Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said six states will continue to be under the CMCO.
