COASTGUARD rescue teams were called to Rosemullion Head near Mawnan Smith on Boxing Day to help with an injured walker. Falmouth and Porthoustock Coastal Rescue teams were called out by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust at around 2.15pm. They helped the ambulance paramedics administer pain relief before carrying the casualty out to a waiting ambulance at Meudon Hotel. The injured walker was located using the What3words app which allow rescuers to pin pont where a casualty is to within three metres.
