KARAK: A clash between rival groups over a land dispute claimed lives of a man and his two sons in Rustam area of Banda Daud Shah tehsil here on Tuesday.
Police officials said the groups traded heavy fire, as a result, Mohammad Shafique and his two sons identified as Mohammad Asim and Mohammad Aashiq sustained critical injuries.
They were shifted to the tehsil headquarters hospital, where they succumbed to injuries.
Khalid Hussain, a member of the rival group, also received injuries. However, his condition is stated to be stable.
The police registered an FIR of the incident and started further investigations.

A day after an inter-State drug racket was busted in Koramangala, the KG Halli police, on Monday, arrested three persons, including a BBA student, in a similar case and recovered synthetic drugs worth ₹60 lakh from them.
The accused have been identified as Mohammed Sajid Khan, 27, Mohammed Ajaz, 27, and Sapam Sital Kumar Singh, 25, from Manipur.
While Sajid and Ajaz worked as assistants at a chicken centre in Shivajinagar, Sapam is a BBA student in a private college, S.D. Sharanappa, DCP, East division, said.
The trio was caught red-handed while selling drugs near the BDA complex in HBR Layout.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 19 : Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday unveiled a calendar for the year 2021 depicting local people who have proved their worth in various walks of life. The calendar also features paintings highlighting the natural beauty of Wayanad.
The month of January depicts Kumbamma, who is into organic farming in Wayanad despite her physical disabilities.
