Police concerned for teen missing from Riverwood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing in Sydney’s south-west Marxus Prescott, aged 14, was last seen at a home on Pennsylvania Road, Riverwood, about 11.30pm last night (Saturday 8 May 2021). When he later failed to return home, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified today (Sunday 9 May 2021) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts. Police and family have concerns for Marxus’ welfare due to his young age. Marxus is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Appeal after armed robbery - Belmore 26 April

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south west yesterday. About 10.45pm (Sunday 25 April 2021), officers from Campsie Police Area Command were called to a service station on Punchbowl Road, Belmore, after reports of an armed robbery. Police have been told an unknown man, armed with a knife, entered the store and demanded cash from the employee – a 26-year-old man. He stole cash and cigarettes, before fleeing the scene on foot down Benaroon Road. The employee was uninjured. A search of the surrounding area was conducted, with assistance from the Dog Unit and POLAIR, however the man was not located. A crime scene was established, which was examined by specialist police.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s west. Camilo Matheson, aged 14, was last seen outside a school on Burwood Road, Belmore about, 8.30am on Tuesday 16 February 2021. He was reported missing to officers from Campsie Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him. Concerns are held for welfare his due to age. He may be using the rail network and in the Sutherland Shire area. Camilo is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
