Burnside fatal crash Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Burnside (Margaret River) in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 13 January 2021.
Around 1.40am, a silver BMW sedan was travelling south on Caves Road. Near the intersection of Carters Road the driver lost control of the vehicle which left the road and struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the BMW, a 23-year-old man received fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigation officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or BMW sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, or has dash-cam vision of either, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Narrikup fatal crash Major Crash Investigation Squad officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Narrikup yesterday morning, Tuesday 22 December 2020.
About 9.55am, a white Mazda utility and a white and black Volvo road-train, collided at the intersection of Albany Highway and Jackson Road.
The driver of the Mazda utility, a 75-year-old man died at the scene. The 29-year-old male driver of the road-train was uninjured.
