Grand Forks County moves into Phase 1B of vaccination program

Eric Hylden / Grand Forks Herald The Grand Forks Public Health Department and Altru Health System have completed vaccination of priority groups defined in Phase 1A per the North Dakota COVID-19 Vaccine Prioritization Plan. Phase 1A included all health care workers in direct patient care, first responders and long-term care residents and staff.

Grand Forks to offer rapid coronavirus screenings this week

Free BinaxNow rapid antigen tests will be available on Wednesday, Dec. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Columbia Mall and Grand Cities Mall. The city of Grand Forks is partnering with the state of North Dakota and the North Dakota National Guard to provide the testing. The screening events will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, inside the Columbia Mall next to the previous Sears location and the Grand Cities Mall in the previous Christian Book Shelf location, next to Ace Hardware (visitors may enter through any of the mall entrances).
