The Royal Mail have revealed 12 new stamp designs to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Only Fools and Horses - one of the most beloved British sitcoms of all time.
Sir David and Lyndhurst reprised their roles as Del Boy and Rodney for a 2014 Sport Relief special starring David Beckham.
Royal Mail stamp strategy manager Philip Parker said: “The superb writing, comic one-liners and the warmth and idiosyncrasies of its characters made Only Fools And Horses one of the most loved TV comedies of all time.

“We celebrate 40 years of the Trotters’ wheeling and dealing, with new stamps revisiting some of the show’s classic moments.”
One of the stamps features the scene where Del Boy falls through a bar in a pub, which last year was voted as the nation’s most memorable TV moment in a poll by Virgin Media for the Bafta TV Awards.

THE Only Fools And Horses costume department deserves free drinks at The Nag’s Head for life after saving a classic episode from being axed before it was even broadcast.
It has been revealed that a batch of blow-up sex dolls that Del Boy wanted to sell had to have a facelift to make them look more family-friendly.

Actress and model Linda Lusardi, 62, said: My father was in a care home. After two weeks of being there he banged his head. He then ended up in hospital and died of sepsis three weeks later. If there had been CCTV, it would have taken out any doubt about what happened to cause the accident. If they have nothing to hide, why would they not mind having CCTV in their premises?
TV presenter and former pop star Michelle Heaton, 41, also backed Tony by saying: It s a really important campaign. My grandma was in a care home and I know she did not have the best of times. With CCTV, maybe her time would have been a lot better and more pleasurable.
