Several private sector organisations have restated their commitment to the tripartite process in this country.
In a joint statement issued today, the private sector groups express hope that national trade unions can return to working with other partners in the tripartite process.
The statement was signed by the CEOs and chairmen of several business lobby groups, namely: American Chamber of Commerce of T&T (AMCHAM T&T); Energy Chamber of Trinidad & Tobago; Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TT Chamber); Tobago Division of the TT Chamber; Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA); and Employers’ Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECATT).
