BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - A crash between two tractor-trailers has closed Interstate 20 east on the morning of Wednesday, April 14.
I-20 East is closed at I-220 (in Bossier) due to an accident. Traffic is being diverted onto Industrial Drive. Congestion has reached Airline Drive.â Shreveport Traffic (@Shreveport Traf) April 14, 2021

COVID-19 vaccinations are now available for all Louisiana citizens over the ages of 16. The Louisiana Department of Health said on their website, “Having a large portion of the population vaccinated is our best shot at a return to some form of normalcy.”

First responders were in the first group to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. The Shreveport-Bossier area did its part in providing vaccinations to over 550 first responders. This number does not include Shreveport Police Department or Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Two Bossier Men Arrested On Child Porn Charges

The Bossier Parish Sheriff s Office announced the arrest of two men, in separate cases, on child pornography charges.
Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington announced in a pair of press releases the arrests of 44-year-old Robert Summers and 26-year-old Roger Johnson, both of Bossier City. Both men were arrested separately this week.
Summers was arrested on Wednesday April 7th, and charged with one count of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles and one count of Obstruction of Justice. The Obstruction of Justice charge stems from Summers attempting to destroy evidence in the case. He was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility, with a $235,000 bond.

BOSSIER PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A man from Bossier Parish has been arrested after allegedly being found with images of child pornography.
The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office says Roger Johnson, 26, has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13. He was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond is pending.
“Our detectives will not let up,” said Sheriff Julian Whittington. “We know this type of criminal behavior is happening all over our country, but we will not tolerate sexual abuse of children here in Bossier Parish. Our team of detectives are specifically trained with state-of-the-art forensic technology to find and capture these criminals.”
