US continues to be an important market for us, says adviser

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has said that our exports to the US during Jul-Apr 2021 have increased by 29% to USD 4,092 million as compared to USD 3,173 million in Jul-Apr 2020.
The United States continues to be an important market for us. We are happy to share that our exports to the US during Jul-Apr 2021 have increased by 29% to USD 4,092 million as compared to USD 3,173 million in Jul-Apr 2020.
This is a substantial increase of USD 918 million and credit goes to our exporters for making this possible under difficult global conditions.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports to the United States during July-April 2021 increased by 29% to US$ 4,092 million as compared to US$ 3,173 million in July-April 2020.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said that the United States continues to be an important market for Pakistan.
The adviser said that this is a substantial increase of US$ 918 million and credit goes to our exporters for making this possible under difficult global conditions.
Abdul Razak Dawood appreciated the efforts made by the Ministry of Commerce’s Trade & Investment Officers at Pakistan’s Trade Mission in Washington DC, Pakistan’s Trade Mission in New York, and Pakistan’s Trade Officer in Houston, and urged them to provide maximum facilitation to Pakistani exporters & Investors.

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood has said that Pakistan’s exports to Australia reached $229 million in last ten months of current fiscal year 2020-21 as compared to $177 million in the same period of last FY 2019-20.
“We are glad to share that during July-April 2021, “our exports to Australia increased by 29 percent to $ 229 million as compared to $177 million in Jul-April 2020,” the adviser said this on his official twitters account.
We are glad to share that during Jul-April 2021, our exports to Australia increased by 29% to USD 229 million as compared to USD 177 million in Jul-April 2020. This is the highest 10-months export to Australia ever.
Pakistan’s export of Kinnows & Oranges increased by 16%

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s export of Kinnows and Oranges increased by 16% to US$ 209 million during July-April 2021 as compared to US$ 180 million during the same period last year.
“I commend the hard work of our Citrus exporters and encourage them to achieve even better results in next season,” the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said in a statement on Monday.
The adviser said that the Ministry of Commerce is at your service.
Earlier in another tweet, the adviser said that the overall output of Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) increased by 9% for July-March 2021 as compared to July-March 2020.
Pakistan and China’s $15-bn meat market

With multiple challenges, Pakistan is edging closer to making its debut as a meat exporter country, with an eye firmly on China’s meat market which is worth around $15 billion annually. Recently, Pakistan company “Organic Meat Company Ltd” (TOMCL) received the official approval for registration with Chinese Custom Authorities to make a start to export heat treated beef meet to China.
Along with new development, arduous efforts are on the way as special focus is likely to be furnished on how Pakistan can get status of international meat export country in upcoming Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting under CPEC framework on agriculture and Livestock. Further thrust is going to be made on full activation of China Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) phase II that incentivises Pakistan exports items including meat and Chinese’s assistance to vaccination & training to Pakistan exporters and Livestock growers.
