The BSE Sensex ended at 50,363, down 31 points or by 0.06 per cent, and the NSE Nifty ended 19 points or 0.3 per cent lower at 14,910. Bucking the trend, the broader markets ended higher, with MidCap and SmallCap indices rising 0.4 per cent and 0.32 per cent, respectively.
