COVID-19 update: Henderson County reports 7 new cases, no new deaths in surrounding district HENDERSON, Ky. Of the Green River District s 26 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, seven were in Henderson County Saturday. Daviess County reported 10, while Union and Webster counties reported three each. Hancock, McLean and Ohio counties each reported one new case of COVID. The Green River District Health Department reported no new COVID-related deaths Saturday in its seven counties.  The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, decreased slightly to 18 in Henderson County as of Friday afternoon and held the county in the orange or accelerated level.

Most local counties see single-digit cases, while Daviess sees 25

HENDERSON, Ky. Henderson County reported a single new confirmed case of COVID-19 Saturday. The Green River District Health Department reported 35 cases in its seven-county district Saturday, with the majority from Daviess County, where there were 25 new confirmed cases.  Other counties in the district reported single-digit new cases or no new cases: There were four in Ohio County, three in Hancock County, and one each in Union and Webster counties. McLean County reported no new COVID cases. The GRDHD did not disclose any new COVID-related deaths in the district Saturday.  The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100,000 population over the past seven days, dropped to 11.7 for Henderson County as of Friday afternoon, which maintained its designation in the  orange or accelerated level.
