Square Enix has released the final trailer for the final remake of
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. While Final Fantasy VII Remake plays fine on PS5 with cross-gun support, Intergrade is the PS5 native version of the reimagined classic from 1997 that released last year. Intergrade features a graphics uphaul and additional content with a side mission featuring Yuffie. The trailer showcases them both.

Nomura wasn’t able to say too much about the new game at the livestream event due to internal politics that made things “too complicated”.
However, he did say that “the game’s development is going smoothly” and dropped some hints as to what to expect.
“We will make announcements when the time is right, but for now what I can reveal is Cloud will be running around a lot of nature. The atmosphere will be quite different from Part 1, so I think people will really enjoy it.”

Registration to participate in the closed beta for Square Enix s upcoming battle royale, Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier, is now open.
Prospective players have from now until 27th May 2021 to register their interest, although right now, the beta is restricted to players with 64-bit, 7.1+ Android phones with at least 3GB of memory available.
As is usually the case with these things, registering does not guarantee you a spot in the closed beta, but the sign-up page hints that it wants tons of players to get involved.

The dates for the closed beta test for Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier have been confirmed by Square Enix. The dates were revealed during a video presentation on the game today. While the video is entirely in Japanese, websites with reliable translations such as Siliconera have acquired the dates from the information given and gameplay shown.
The details for the closed beta in both the US and Japan are set for early June. In the US, the beta will run from June 1 to 7 for Android devices only, while in Japan, it will run from June 1 to 8 across both Android and iOS devices. The beta test will take place June 1st through June 7th, with sign-ups beginning May 7th
here. The beta will be available only on the Google Play store in the US and Canada, while Japan will be able to play the beta on both Android and iOS devices. It looks like Apple users will have to wait for either a separate beta or the full game before they re able to enjoy it in the West.
