A man has allegedly slumped and died in front of a branch of the First City Monument Bank at Ikwerre Road, Mile 1, Rivers Stateon Tuesday.
The man’s death, according, to a Twitter user, Dokubo, Kenneth Promise #EndSARS, who posted it on his Twitter handle @dokubo kenneth, was due to frustration resulting from hostile treatment meted out on him by the customer service officials of the bank.

Shareholders of FCMB Group Plc have restated their confidence in the financial institution to sustain its impressive performance and deliver more value.
The shareholders gave the commendation at the eight Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Group held Wednesday, in Lagos.
They also unanimously approved the payment of a dividend of N2.97 billion, translating to 15 kobo per ordinary share for the year ended December 31, 2020, as against 14 kobo per share the previous year.
The AGM was held virtually due the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and streamed live to shareholders of the financial institution.

FCMB Group Head, Corporate Affairs, Diran Olojo, said the bank s board of directors had already commenced a review into the matter, adding that its findings would be disclosed in due course.
“We are aware of several stories circulating across several media platforms about our bank’s Managing Director, Adam Nuru; a former employee, Mrs Moyo Thomas, and her deceased husband, Mr Tunde Thomas,” the statement said.
“While this is a personal matter, the tragedy of the death of Mr Tunde Thomas and the allegations of unethical conduct require the bank’s board to conduct a review of what transpired, any violations of our code of ethics and the adequacy of this code of ethics.

Lagos State Governor, Mr Sanwo-Olu has donated N5, 000, 000, three Coaster Buses, 1 Ambulance, 1 Siren to the Late Yinka Odumakin solidarity memorial organised by the Civil Society and Pro-Democracy Movement ahead of the Saturday burial ceremony.
It has also approved the deployment of heavy security back-up towards the success of the Solidarity Memorial initiated by Comrades and Associates of Odumakin for celebration and Immortalisation of the life and legacies of the deceased.
