COVID-19 vaccine clinic to be held in PG for Indigenous residents SHARE ON: Vaccine Shipment (Photo by BC Gov Flickr) The First Nations Health Authority, Northern Health, and Carrier Sekani Family Services are hosting an Indigenous Urban and Away from Home Clinic in Prince George starting on Monday. All Indigenous people 18 and up are eligible to sign up. The clinic will be held at the House of Ancestors (355 Vancouver Street) and walk-ins are also welcome. It will run until May 19th. 1/2 @fnha, in partnership with @CarrierSekaniFS and @Northern Health, is offering a COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Prince George for urban and away-from-home Indigenous peoples. Posted: May 8, 2021 Interior Health passes 335,000 dose milestone Interior Health (IH) has administered approximately 335,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine throughout the Interior. Our #journey2immunity continues towards the goal of offering vaccine to every eligible person in IH. With 742,000 residents in Interior Health, roughly 45% of all IH area residents have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. “Across Interior Health, hundreds of people attending their appointments at immunization clinics every day and emerging with a dose of vaccine that will protect them from serious illness or death by COVID-19,” said Interior Health president and CEO Susan Brown. “It’s uplifting to see the excitement of newly vaccinated people.”
