As of Feb. 2, Manitoba remains second in the country in the number of people who have received two doses of vaccine and are fully protected against COVID-19, at 759 per 100,000. This week, focused immunization teams (FITs) will begin providing immunizations for vulnerable people in congregate living settings. Updates on the number of immunizations will be provided as they are available. Manitoba continues to compile information about the number of first-dose immunizations given to personal care home residents. Information as of Feb. 2 indicates 8,255 residents were immunized. FITs will return to personal care homes beginning next week to provide second-dose immunizations.
