Manitoba First Nations Police Service Officers on general patrol, along with the assistance of Crime Reduction Team (C.R.T.) Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Ridge Road South, in the community of Sandy Bay First Nation on December 16, 2020.
An adult female and two adult males were located inside the residence and were immediately taken into custody. Upon searching the subjects and the residence, officers located and seized over $2,500.00 in Canadian currency, 24 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, three pellet (BB) guns, a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle, several different types of ammunition, three scales, hundreds of unused baggies, an altered cattle prod (conducted energy weapon), two cans of bear mace, and several other items related to drug trafficking.
