Cop Who Mocked LeBron James On TikTok Signs Book Deal, Sets Up Foundation To Help Police
Bellevue, ID – The Bellevue deputy marshal who was suspended without pay for mocking NBA star LeBron James in a now-viral TikTok video just landed a book deal and is establishing a foundation to help support law enforcement officers.
Belleview Deputy Marshal Nate Silvester said the ability to establish the foundation was made possible by generous donations to his Go Fund Me campaign, which has raised over $510,000 so far.
The veteran officer said he is also earmarking a portion of the funds to give to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

Dennis Tortorella joined fellow Town of Mamaroneck firefighters and headed to New York City to help out on Sept. 11, 2001. That night, they ended up at Ground Zero, fighting the spate of fires that continued to burn in nearby buildings.
He died Monday, May 4. He was 75.
The cause was 9/11-related cancer, his family said.
Tortorella, a more than 50-year volunteer, was a former captain in the department and had been named an honorary chief.
A U.S. Army combat veteran, Tortorella had joined his brother and father in a plumbing business that later became Sound Shore Contracting.
The Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department was the other Tortorella family business.
James had threatened Columbus Police Officer Nicholas Reardon, tweeting, YOU RE NEXT alongside a photo of the officer, after he shot and killed Bryant in April when she endangered the lives of multiple civilians with a knife. However, James later said he regretted the tweet.
I fueled the wrong conversation about Ma’Khia Bryant and I owe it to her and this movement to change it. Thank you @fabiolacineas for educating us about Ma’Khia and her story and why this needs to be about her. https://t.co/Owh1vDJWXi#sayhername#Blacklivesmatter LeBron James (@KingJames) May 3, 2021
