Alongside the music event, a rifle drill and a maritime counter-terrorism demonstration were held at PNS Qasim, Manora, on Sunday. Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Nadeem Raza was chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Navy in conducting the multinational maritime exercise in a befitting manner. The impressive band display by the participating navies of Aman ’21 was like connecting all these countries through culture. The military bands from Sri Lanka, three services of Pakistan, Sindh Rangers and Coast Guard played traditional and military tunes. They were all appreciated by the audience.

Joint chiefs reiterate all out support for Kashmiris Top Story February 12, 2021 RAWALPINDI: A Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) meeting was held at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi, during which the participants reiterated that Pakistan will continue to provide all out diplomatic, moral and political support to the brave people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their indigenous struggle to get justice and their right to self-determination in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Nadeem Raza presided over the meeting which was attended by Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of Naval Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of Air Staff and senior officers from Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production and tri-services.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Nadeem Raza, who witnessed the test, said: “Pakistan desires peaceful co-existence in the region and its strategic capability is to deter any aggression against the sovereignty of Pakistan.” Shaheen-III is a surface-to-surface ballistic missile with a range of 2,750 kilometres, which makes it capable of reaching the farthest point in India’s northeast and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
