Launched a few months ago, the new BS6/Euro 5 compliant Suzuki Hayabusa has been a polarizing subject in the world of super bikes. The sharper, more angular Suzuki hyper-bike got its first comprehensive rework since it was launched in 1999, but without major changes to the chassis or the powertrain. Dashing any hopes of the turbo-charged Hayabusa that was rumored to be in the works. What’s worse was that instead of bump in power Euro 5 saw the 1300cc inline four lose a few horses, although Suzuki say that majorly reworked internals and the new electronic systems will ensure that this new Busa is not on
The launch is pretty close but thanks to the massive spike in COVID-19 cases, Suzuki India could postpone the launch or opt for an online event. Suzuki was also planning to organise a ‘Hayabusa Day’ to showcase the new bike.
Apart from the exciting new colours, the Busa packs a lot of goodies for 2021. The third-gen Hayabusa is probably the most feature-packed Busa to date. It gets an extensive electronics suite, including engine brake control, wheelie control, cruise control, hill hold control, and launch control all accessible through a dual-pod semi-digital instrument cluster that we totally dig.
The Hayabusa is theoretically powered by the same 1340cc inline-four motor, but the engine has undergone many changes for BS6 compliance. The power output has gone down, though, but Suzuki claims it’s now more tractable than before. It sees several other changes too.

The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa has finally arrived, and the motorcycle packs styling and mechanical revisions in its latest form. The Hayabusa has received a full-model change for the first time in 13 years and here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the motorcycle.
In terms of design, the 2021 model retain the overall silhouette of the Hayabusa models from the past.
There are, however, several revisions. The front fascia, for example, gets an LED headlight and turn signals with built-in position lights. The position lights/turn indicators are placed on the outer edges of the air intakes.
