General shares strategies for stabilizing Indo-Pacific region

Gen. Kenneth S. Wilsbach, the U.S. Pacific Air Forces commander, held a teleconference June 4 discussing strategies to stabilize the Indo-Pacific region.
Strategies include the implementation of the Agile Combat Employment system and the Aegis ballistic missile defense system on Guam.
The conference was centered around the threats that the region faces. According to Wilsbach, the main entities that pose as threats are Russia, North Korea, and China. Chinese military capability has made significant improvements over the last several years, and one of those areas is in ballistic missiles, he said. We also have concerns about, for similar reasons, for Russia and North Korea because both of those countries have also had significant developments in their missile capabilities.
