No snow this weekend despite temperature drop

Dublin s Q102 By Kevin O Mahony We won’t see much snow in Dublin during the cold snap. There’ll be a lot of crisp and dry weather at the weekend, which will come as a relief for people looking to head on their winter walks. But temperatures will slide to 8 degrees below freezing during the night. Despite this, Met Eireann s Head of Forecasting Evelyn Cusack says kids out of school shouldn’t expect to be building any snowmen: So sorry kids, not too much; there might be one or two light snow showers so unfortunately for the kids no great amounts of snow.
