Ex-Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson will be in charge of Bay of Plenty this season. Former All Blacks midfielder Daryl Gibson will coach Bay of Plenty in the national provincial championship. Gibson, who played 19 tests between 1999 and 2002, has been named as the new Steamers coach as a replacement for Clayton McMillan who is now in charge of the Chiefs and will assist Warren Gatland when he returns to duty next year.
