NEW YORK Former Vice-President Mike Pence has a book deal. His autobiography, currently untitled, is scheduled to come out in 2023.
“I am grateful to have the opportunity to tell the story of my life in public service to the American people, from serving in Congress, to the Indiana Governor’s office and as Vice-President of the United States,” Pence said in a statement. “I look forward to working with the outstanding team at Simon & Schuster to invite readers on a journey from a small town in Indiana to Washington, DC.”

Former Vice President Mike Pence has a new book deal.
Pence, who is seen as a possible contender for the 2024 presidential election, will write a two-book autobiography, and the first part is set to hit shelves sometime in 2023, publisher Simon & Schuster announced on Wednesday.
The books, which are untitled at the moment, will chronicle Pence s faith and his time as a public servant.

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday launched an advocacy group to promote his agenda and defend the Trump administration’s record, a signal that he’s moving toward a 2024 presidential bid.
The group, Advancing American Freedom, will “build on the success of the last four years by promoting traditional Conservative values and promoting the successful policies of the Trump Administration,” Pence said in a statement announcing the launch.
“Conservatives will not stand idly by as the radical Left and the new administration attempt to threaten America’s standing as the greatest Nation in the world with their destructive policies,” he said.

Simon & Schuster announced on Wednesday a two-book deal with Pence, the first of which will be his autobiography. It s tentatively scheduled for publication in 2023.
The book will address the many pivotal moments of the administration, according to the publisher, from the time Donald Trump chose Pence as his running mate through President Joe Biden s inauguration.
Pence s group includes an unpaid advisory board made up of conservative leaders including the anti-abortion rights advocate Marjorie Dannenfelser and Ed Meese, who was President Ronald Reagan s attorney general, as well as former Trump administration officials including former counselor Kellyanne Conway, economic adviser Larry Kudlow and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer. That makeup is a nod to Pence s broader effort to position himself as someone who can appeal to various parts of the party.
A Pence aide said the group, which is widely seen a part of the groundwork for a potential 2024 run, will focus on a broad range of issues, from school choice to energy independence to foreign affairs. It will likely target its initial efforts, including direct mail and media appearances, on the influx of unaccompanied migrant children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border and the Biden administration s proposed corporate tax increases.
