Former First Lady Michelle Obama on Thursday called on Big Tech companies to permanently ban President Donald Trump from their social media platforms principally because he’s “infantile and unpatriotic.” Can it go downhill from there? Yes.
In a statement posted to social media on Thursday, Obama said the “Capitol riots” were a “fulfillment of the wishes of an infantile and unpatriotic president who can’t handle the truth of his own failures.”

Right. This, from the woman who in March 2008, infamously declared, “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” No, you were happy because your husband was elected president. Fine.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is calling on the Big Tech Masters of the Universe to ban President Donald Trump from their platforms, insisting that such a move would “to prevent their technology from being used by the nation’s leaders to fuel insurrection.”
“Now is the time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior and go even further than they have already by permanently banning this man from their platforms and putting in place policies to prevent their technology from being used by the nation’s leaders to fuel insurrection,” said Michelle Obama in a statement on Thursday.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the House will impeach President Trump as she and other Democratic congressional leaders continued leaning on Cabinet members to invoke their Constitutional authority to oust him. Trump’s incitement of the mob that took over the Capitol building has made him a threat to democracy, Pelosi said. The House planned a Wednesday vote on impeaching Trump for “incitement of insurrection.” Latest updates: 2:39 p.m. D.C..
