We re ready to die - Fani-Kayode echoes plot to Islamise Nigeria

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reiterated his call for vigilance against plots to make the country become an Islamic and a ‘Fulanised’ State. In a statement on Wednesday, he said the country has people who vowed to lead Muslims into Christian areas as their “commander” and those who hate Christians and non-Muslims. The former aviation minister said the individual continues to occupy a critical position in government “even after millions of Nigerians have demanded his removal or resignation. Fani-Kayode explained that an Islamic cleric acts as a front and go-between for the foreign Fulani bandits and terrorists, facilitates the payment of huge ransoms to them and constantly defends them.

Daily Post Nigeria Published The federal government has received the report on the reform of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN). Minister of Defence Bashir Magashi assured Nigerians that the recommendations would be used to fight insecurity in the country. In February, Magashi inaugurated a 21-man committee. The body included ex-Generals, a former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin. Receiving the team at the National Defence College in Abuja, Magashi said the redesign was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari. The retired General added that the design sought to emplace a robust, repositioned and result-oriented military for improved performance in the discharge of constitutional mandate.
