New Delhi: Five domestic airlines are all set to resume operations from Mumbai s international airport s Terminal-1 from Wednesday (March 10), the airport authorities informed. These airlines will be operating 102 flights to 27 destinations.
Mumbai Airport has two terminals T1 and T2. While T1 caters to domestic passengers, Terminal-2 has international services besides domestic operations of some of the Indian airlines. However, after the resumption of domestic commercial passenger services in May last year, following a nearly two-month shutdown in the wake of the pandemic, the flight services were consolidated at T2 terminal.

New Delhi: Private low-cost airline IndiGo on Monday announced that it will be operating flight numbers with subset series 6E 5500 - 6E 5900 to and from Terminal 1 at the Mumbai International Airport from March 10, 2021, as directed by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). All other flights, including 5,000 series, will continue to operate from Terminal 2.

With a view to safeguarding health and safety of passengers in Covid-19 times, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) will resume domestic operations from Terminal 1 (T1) from March 10. The operations at T1 had been suspended after the nationwide lockdown in March 2020.
