Crashes
Minnesota State Patrol: fatal crash, 10:55 p.m. Monday, U.S. 59 and Lime Lake Drive, Avoca. A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Alexander John Bretsch, 26, of Frederick, South Dakota was traveling northbound on U.S. 59 and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala operated by Kyle Ray Thompson, 37, of Huron, South Dakota was traveling northbound when they collided. Both Bretch and Thompson died in the crash. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Murray County Ambulance and Slayton Fire Department assisted.

12:23 a.m. Friday: 2100 block of Nobles Street, Worthington, adult female who fell.
12:45 a.m. Friday: 1700 block of Northeast Minnesota 60, Worthington, unconscious male.
1:46 a.m. Friday: 1200 block of Hampshire Circle, Luverne.

⢠Salvador Cruz, 23, 2124 Holly Terrace, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence), criminal trespass (damage of $500 or less) and felony probation violation.
⢠Casey Matthew Manis, 37, 3291 Old Highway, Ellijay, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff s Office with felony probation violation.
⢠Ladarrius Rolax, 21, 6 N. Willow St.-25, Chattanooga, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department as a fugitive from justice (Hamilton County, Tennessee, domestic assault).

⢠Devin Vance Lumpkin, 25, 4504 Rolling Way Drive, Cohutta, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff s Office with aggravated assault on an officer, felony theft by taking/larceny/theft of an automobile, misdemeanor interference with government property, felony probation violation, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers, failure to stop at a stop sign, hit and run, aggressive driving and failure to report an accident.
