Today, Mueller announced the expansion of the small drilling machine product line with the launch of the EZ-TAP
™ drilling machine. The compact, lightweight EZ-TAP drilling machine is designed specifically for water taps and use with service saddles and corporation stops up to 300 psig working pressure. The new design makes service connections easier on mains with or without pressure. It can be hand operated using a standard socket or off the shelf cordless drill.
The EZ-TAP drilling machine is available in two kit options - The Machine Kit is designed for ¾” and 1” corporation stops, and the Large Diameter Kit (Less Machine), is designed for 1-¼”, 1-½”, and 2” corporation stops.

Atlanta Mueller Systems today announced that Calaveras County Water District has selected Mueller Systems to deploy an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) network covering 1,000 square miles with 13,000 AMI endpoints. The project will replace the majority of the District’s meters and add communication capabilities to all meters.
