New FARMS program answers a pastor’s prayers Bangladesh (MNN) A new program in Bangladesh answers more than a decade of prayer. “I [have been] praying for 15 to 16 years that God [would] send somebody who can help us [who] can understand us,” Pastor William begins. “I thank God for FARMS International.” Pastor William fled Bangladesh in 2015 after receiving death threats from the Islamic State. These threats were real; terrorists killed a leader from Pastor William’s church shortly after he left the country. Today, as FARMS International begins working alongside a coalition of believers from a Muslim background, Pastor William sees the answer to his prayers.
