Islamabad : As many as 13 confirmed patients of coronavirus illness, COVID-19 from Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi district died of the illness during Eid days while another 573 patients were tested positive for COVID-19 from the twin cities in the last three days that took total number of patients so far registered from the region to 102,261.
Data collected by ‘The News’ on Saturday reveals that seven deaths were added to the dashboards of the twin cities on the first day of Eidul Fitr and two on the second day while four deaths have been reported from the region in the last 24 hours taking death toll from the twin cities to 1653 on the third day of Eid.

Rawalpindi: As many as five confirmed patients of coronavirus illness, COVID-19 belonging to Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi district have died of the disease in the last 24 hours while 231 new patients have been tested positive from the region that is the lowest number of patients reported in a day from the twin cities after March 7 this year.
The positivity rate of COVID-19, however, was less than five per cent from the region in the first week of March this year that has been recorded as 5.75 per cent in the last 24 hours for ICT. It is important to mention here that the positivity rate for ICT has been recorded as less than six per cent for the fourth time in the last two months.

Islamabad : As many as 395 new patients have been tested positive for coronavirus illness, COVID-19 in the last 24 hours from Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi district while the virus has claimed another three lives from the twin cities that has taken the death toll from the region to 1,618.
It is important to mention that the COVID-19 outbreak is still hitting population in the twin cities with much severity as in the last one week, as many as 38 patients belonging to ICT and Rawalpindi have lost their lives due to the illness while another 2813 patients have been tested positive in the last seven days from the region making an average of around 402 patients per day.
