The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) informed the latest decision in an urgent dispatch sent to airlines, the airports, and the Southern and Northern Airports Authorities, which replaced the decision on suspending the reception of foreign arrivals at the two airports under document 2276/CHK-VTHK dated May 31.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has decided to limit domestic flights to and from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City for two weeks as COVID-19 infections surge in the southern metropolis.
From June 1 to 14, five Vietnamese airlines are only allowed to operate a total of 63 flights to and from Tan Son Nhat every day, the CAAV said on Tuesday.
National carrier Vietnam Airlines is permitted to operate 28 flights, followed by budget carrier Vietjet Air with 20 flights, hybrid airline Bamboo Airways 11, Pacific Airlines three, and newcomer Vietravel Airlines one.
