Vietnam has no COVID-19 case to report on February 28 morning
Vietnam saw no new COVID-19 case over the past 12 hours to 6am February 28, making the national tally unchanged at 2,432, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Among the total, 1,530 were locally infected, including 837 cases since January 27.
A total 1,844 COVID-19 patients have recovered so far, and the death toll remains at 35.
Among those still under treatment, 32 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 50 twice and 100 thrice.
By February 27 afternoon, 10 provinces and cities had gone through 14 consecutive days without new locally-infected cases of COVID-19.

Hanoi reports case of COVID-19 relapse
A patient has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 again after being given the all-clear, the Hanoi Centre of Disease Control (CDC Hanoi) said on February 25.
The 48-year-old patient, who resides in Dich Vong ward in Cau Giay district, has been taken to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases for further quarantine and treatment.
The case does not pose any risk of community transmission, Deputy Director of CDC Hanoi Khong Minh Tuan said.
Hanoi had reported 36 COVID-19 cases between January 27 and 12pm on February 25, according to the municipal Department of Health.
The case involves the land lot at 57 Cao Thang being
exchanged for land at
185 Hai Ba Trung, and nine people will be prosecuted for
“lack of responsibility, causing serious consequences”.
The nine are former Vice Chairman of the
municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tai, former Deputy Director of the
municipal Department of Finance Tran Nam Trang, former Director of the HCM City Light Music Centre Vy Nhat Tao, former Director of the municipal Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thanh Rum, former Deputy Director of the department
Le Ton Thanh, former deputy heads of the HCM City People’s Committee Office
