Patna (Bihar) [India], January 21 (ANI): A minor girl was stabbed to death by an unknown person in Patna s Jaiprakash Nagar on Thursday.
According to the police, the teenager, who was the daughter of a labourer, was stabbed with a sharp object. The victim died after being stabbed in the neck. She was around 14 to 15 years old. The body has been sent for post mortem, said Mukesh Verma, Police Station Incharge of the Jakkanpur Police Station.
Sanjeet Kumar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, told media that the victim was stabbed with a sharp object and investigation is still underway to find a reason behind the attack.

Islamabad:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Syed Mustafa Tanvir on Monday said it was foremost priority of the federal capital police to make Islamabad safest city and all out efforts would be made in that regard.
A massive crackdown has been launched against anti-social elements and drug peddlers to make Islamabad crime free city, the SSP said in a statement. According to a police statement, Islamabad Police has arrested 14 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, narcotics, wine, valuables and weapons from their possession.
SP (Rural-Zone) Farooq Amjad Butter constituted special police team under the supervision of DSP Qasim Niazi including SHO Koral police station Inspector Basheer along with others.

JAMMU: The 32nd National Road Safety Month was today inaugurated by Transport Commissioner, J&K Pardeep Kumar, with the flagging off a Walkathon-cum-Awareness Rally, here at Gulshan Ground.

Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 19 (ANI): The Government College for Women at Jammu s Gandhi Nagar on Tuesday held a bike-scooter rally from Jammu to Katra to create awareness about traffic rules to mark the 32nd National Road Safety month.
The rally was flagged off by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma. As per the direction of the Indian government, the National Road Safety Month (January 18-February 17) was inaugurated yesterday, informed SSP. The traffic police of Jammu are deployed for the safety of the people and the heavy fine being imposed so that the road-users must adopt the traffic rules, he said.
