Suspect involved in 38 bomb attacks arrested July 14, 2021 District Malir police, in collaboration with an intelligence agency, have arrested a suspect associated with a banned nationalist group involved in bomb attacks in the city. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Irfan Ali Bahadur, chief of the District Malir police, said on Tuesday the arrest was made on a tip-off about the presence of a notorious criminal involved in terrorism cases in the airport area. During the raid conducted in Bhittaiabad of the Airport area, the suspect, identified as Ramesh Kumar, put up resistance before he was arrested. A search of his hideout led to the discovery and seizure of explosive material, wires, grenades, cellphones and CNICs.
