“Your decisions regarding the aforementioned fact are frightening and it is a breeding ground for mismanagement and fraud…”

Welshman James Thomas named T&T Women’s head coach; all-local support staff to be appointed
The Fifa-appointed normalisation committee has hired Welsh coach James Thomas as the new head coach of the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s National Senior Team.
Thomas is a former Wales Women’s National Senior Team assistant coach and performance analyst and holds a Uefa ‘A’ License and Elite Youth ‘A’ License. He also served as assistant at Cardiff City Ladies FC in the English FA’s Women’s National League.

ST. LUCIA Football Association [SLFA] president, Lyndon Cooper has had to navigate through some troubled waters lately. Perhaps the most contentiously was the general discontent expressed concerning the country’s non-participation in the current World Cup Qualifiers (WCQ).
Over the past months, this latter development has stirred up quite an uproar in local football circles and the wider region.

Government officials have also publicly voiced their dissatisfaction with the decision and to compound matters, a group of national players staged a protest outside the SLFA base in the midst of the fracas that ensued.

STANFORD, Calif. - Fresh off a spectacular sophomore season, Haley Jones has been selected to participate in team trials for USA Basketball Women s AmeriCup. She, along with 19 other top collegiate players, will compete for a spot from April 18-21, 2021 on the campus of the University of South Carolina.
Invitations to the trials were issued by the USA Basketball Women s Junior National Team Committee and USA Women s Senior National Team Committee.
Jones has previously won a gold medal with USA Basketball, taking first place at the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup in Belarus.
Ten nations from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean will take part in the 2021 AmeriCup, held June 11-19 in Puerto Rico. The top four finishing teams will advance to compete in one of four 2022 FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournaments in hopes of earning one of the 12 spots in the 2022 FIBA World Cup field. Twenty of the nation’s top collegiate athletes, including 10 who have captured a combined 21 gold medals competing on past USA Basketball teams, have accepted invitations to attend the April 18-21, 2021 USA Basketball Women’s AmeriCup Team trials.
Invitations to the trials, which will be held at the University of South Carolina, were issued by the USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team Committee and USA Women’s Senior National Team Committee.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, no media or guests will be allowed to view trials sessions. USA Basketball will provide media with images and b-roll for non-commercial, editorial use on a daily basis.
