‘Exciting day’: Cornerstone at Hampton holds COVID vaccination clinic

HAMPTON Residents and staff of Cornerstone at Hampton recently got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This was one of the region’s first assisted living community clinics.
The vaccines were administered by CVS Health/Omnicare through an arrangement between the healthcare company and Senior Living Residences of Braintree, Massachusetts, which manages Cornerstone at Hampton.
“This is a very exciting day for our residents and our entire team here,” said Katrina June, the community’s executive director. “We’re thankful that assisted living communities are being prioritized to receive the vaccine and are looking forward to our next clinic in just a few short weeks.”

Residents and staff of Concord Park were able to get their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine Jan. 14.
The vaccines were administered by CVS Health/Omnicare through an arrangement between the health care company and Senior Living Residences of Braintree which manages Concord Park.
“This is a very exciting day for our residents and our entire team here,” said Natasha Heimrath, the community’s executive director. “We’re thankful that assisted living communities are being prioritized to receive the vaccine and are looking forward to our next clinic in three weeks.”
After receiving their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, each person was monitored by a nurse in a waiting area for 15 minutes. During that time, many posed for photos or took selfies with their “I Got My COVID-19 Vaccine” stickers, to post to social media.
