The State of Florida Issues Tropical Storm Elsa Updates
Governor Ron DeSantis is in constant communication with Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) Director Kevin Guthrie as the State of Florida continues to monitor and respond to the threat of Tropical Storm Elsa.

Current forecasts project Tropical Storm Elsa will make landfall in the eastern Big Bend of Florida or Nature Coast north of Tampa Bay early tomorrow morning, July 7. The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs is appealing to owners of rental apartments, preferably those that are furnished and in good living condition, to contact the Ministry, if they are able to facilitate those persons who have lost their homes during the passage of Hurricane Elsa.
