Bengaluru: When Satyam Kumarâs mother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in 2018, she went through all the prescribed medicines and chemotherapy at a private hospital in Gurgaon. But the cancer didnât stop progressing. âWith no other verifiable treatment for the cancer at the time, only clinical trials were an option,â Kumar said.
