The payments could be months before reaching your bank account, but it could extend a helping hand to millions of households suffering from the pandemic s economic effect, analysts say.

Third Stimulus Check: When and How Much You Could Get If You Qualify
The relief package called the American Rescue Plan faces pushback from some Republican lawmakers. The party resisted the Democratic efforts to pass a $2 trillion bill last year as well. Hunter Hammond, Heights Securities analyst, expects the package to be trimmed to $1 trillion or $1.5 trillion, as per CBS News.
Both Warnock and Ossoff in a lunchtime call with Senate Democrats and White House economic advisers Thursday described the pledge as pivotal to their respective victories, according to the newspaper.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said the general consensus in the meeting was the need for quick, decisive action on another round of coronavirus relief.

“My strong impression was that there is general unanimity, and it’s strong that we need to be bold and decisive, particularly in putting shots and putting vaccines in people’s arms and putting money in people’s pockets and putting kids back to school,” Blumenthal said, according to the Post. “And one way to put money in people’s pockets is to fulfill our promises on stimulus payments.”
We can debate the finer points of whether or not government should be giving us money or not, but the reality is most Americans need a little help, myself included.
Remember, there are already laws to protect people so most can stay in their homes. So things like rent, mortgage, credit card payments, medical bills can wait.
You should also reach out to creditors and tell them about your situation so you can work out a payment plan or some type of temporary forgiveness. Don t just ignore the situation.
