Humanitarian aid that was on its way into the Gaza Strip from Israel on Wednesday was shelled by Hamas terrorists.
The IDF’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) stated that during the entry of a shipment of civilian aid into the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing, donated by Jordan, the terrorist organizations in the Strip fired three mortar shells at the crossing area.
Following the attack, an alert was activated in the area and Israel decided to stop the entry of the shipment until further notice.
The shipment included a number of trucks with medical equipment destined for the Jordanian hospital in the Gaza Strip.

On Thursday, Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets continued to decimate Hamas’ infrastructure and attacked dozens of underground terrorist targets as part of the IDF’s operation to attack Hamas’ so-called Metro underground city throughout the Strip.
In addition, the IAF bombed a command center at the home of the commander of the North Khan Yunis Battalion, Ali Abu Zarqa, weapons production sites, and a number of underground launching positions.
The IDF further announced that it neutralized three Hamas operatives located in an operational hideout apartment belonging to the Hamas cyber unit.

At least 10 synagogues were attacked and burned in the past week of Muslim riots across the country while 28 mosques were exposed as weapons storage sites, the data show.
Data from the Central District of Fire and Rescue show that from last Tuesday, 10 synagogues and government institutions in the city of Lod in the center of the country have been set on fire. No mosques were attacked or burned.
The data also show that 28 mosques were exposed as weapons caches, where rocks and Molotov cocktails were prepared and stored.
