But questions remain about what recovery implies, what are the long-lasting health impacts, and how long are the physical after-effects of the disease. A new analysis throws some light on these critical questions. More than three quarters or 76% of patients hospitalized with coronavirus were struggling with at least one symptom six months after falling sick, found researchers. While people were troubled with fatigue or muscle weakness (63% of patients), which was the most common symptom, sleep difficulties (26%), as well as anxiety or depression (23%), were also frequently reported by survivors.
