When Will the Snow Go Away?
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an absolute juggernaut of a game. This Switch exclusive is still picking up new players, at least partly because we’re all still stuck inside and we want to visit our friends while dressed up as frogs and causing trouble, which is pretty awesome. However, new players may not know everything they can expect from this digital island paradise. If you have questions like ‘what collectibles can I find in February?’, ‘are there any events coming up?’, and ‘no, seriously, when does the snow go away?’, we have answers. Some of them are contained within this short video straight from Nintendo, which you should honestly watch whether or not you need a reminder of what February has in store for us. It’s very cute.

Do you feel like the days keep resetting? Like you re living in an endless, repetitive loop? Yeah, us too. Only this time, it s not because it s Groundhog Day - the day where a weather-predicting squirrel tells us about the future, which was skyrocketed to fame after the Harold Ramis film of the same name - it s because of COVID.
Still, it s a day worth celebrating, even if Punxsutawney Phil has predicted more six more weeks of winter. To cheer us up, Nintendo has added a lil Resetti figurine to Animal Crossing: New Horizons - the first time he appears in the game, at least in 3D - but today is the last day you can get it.

Fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons can expect the new items to hit their island early next month.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans won’t have to wait too much longer to receive more seasonal content.
According to Nintendo of America’s official Twitter page, the game is set to receive items themed around “customs & events around the world.” Specifically mentioned was the Japanese tradition of Setsubun, which will see the Able Sisters and Nook Shopping selling an Ogre costume and Bean-Tossing Kit on February 1 and February 3 respectively. Although the wording of the tweet would suggest that players can expect items themed around other cultures as well, it is currently unclear if and when they will become available.
