Cornerstone adds vinyl window production through acquisition

Prime Window Systems LLC serves residential new construction and repair and remodel markets with energy efficient vinyl window and door products from two manufacturing facilities in Denver and Union Gap, Wash.
Cary, N.C.-based Cornerstone Building Brands Inc. acquired Prime Window Systems LLC to expand manufacturing capacity and create new sales opportunities in the Western U.S.
Headquartered in Denver, Prime Window serves residential new construction and repair and remodel markets with energy efficient vinyl window and door products.The company generated 2020 sales of $60 million and has about 300 employees at manufacturing locations in Denver and Union Gap, Wash.
Cornerstone: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

CARY, N.C. (AP) Cornerstone Building Brands, In (CNR) on Tuesday reported a loss of $1.7 million in its first quarter.
The Cary, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 3 cents per share.
The maker of products used in commercial buildings posted revenue of $1.27 billion in the period.
For the current quarter ending in July, Cornerstone said it expects revenue in the range of $1.38 billion to $1.43 billion.
Cornerstone shares have increased 60% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14.87, more than tripling in the last 12 months.

Luke Bryan has once again signed on to help Cornerstone Building Brands and their Home For Good project build affordable homes across the United States. Since starting the Home For Good project in 2016, the company, the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, has donated over $2 million in products to Habitat for Humanity, which helped build more than 550 homes in 90 communities. Luke was the Home For Good Ambassador last year as well. “I’m glad to be part of Cornerstone Building Brands’ Home for Good project again this year,” he shares. “Every family deserves a place to call home where children can be happy and memories are created, and it’s a privilege to play even a small part in tackling this big need.”
