Two people from Syracuse were arrested Wednesday after investigators found more than 1,000 doses of heroin in an SUV in Watertown, police said. Khyla A. Miles, 22, and Delvon L. Graham, 33, have been accused of possessing and intending to sell heroin, police said in a news release. The pair were arrested after an investigation by the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force. Members of the task force pulled over a 2021 Kia SUV in Watertown around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Graham and Miles were in the SUV.

WATERTOWN — Nearly 1,200 doses of heroin were seized after a traffic stop Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of two Syracuse people. The Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force initiated a drug investigation at about 2:30 p.m., which included a vehicle stop on a 2021 Kia sport utility vehicle. Inside the SUV was Khyla A. Miles, 22, of Syracuse, and Delvon L. Graham, 33, also of Syracuse. It was suspected that heroin was inside the vehicle, so the two were taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building. A search warrant was obtained and executed on the SUV and both suspects. The searched resulted in the seizure of 1,191 doses of heroin, and $1,729.

(WWNY) - Two Syracuse residents have been charged with drug possession after police allegedly found nearly 1,200 doses of heroin in the vehicle they were in. Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force investigators report they pulled a vehicle over in Watertown at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Inside were Khyla Miles and Delvon Graham, both from Syracuse. Vehicle and occupants were taken to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building, where the vehicle was searched. Police say they found 1,191 doses of heroin inside and more than $1,700 in cash.
