Two suspects escaped after leading officers on a pursuit in a stolen SUV that had a stolen gun and hundreds of bullets early Monday morning, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) said. Around 1:30 a.m., BCSO said a deputy reported seeing a suspicious black Chevy Tahoe with no license plates driving erratically as it left the area of Williams Fork Trail and Spine Road. One person was killed and two others were injured in two separate shootings across Denver overnight in downtown and the Lowry neighborhood, police said.
Two people were injured in a shooting early Saturday in downtown, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD). The shooting happened about 4:40 a.m. Saturday in the area of 17th and Champa Streets, and the victims were transported to a hospital with unknown injuries, DPD said. WESTMINSTER, Colo. A Subaru Forester that was stolen last month with a 15-year-old dog was recovered in Commerce City Tuesday, but the animal was not inside of the vehicle and is still missing.
The vehicle was first reported stolen on April 16. It was taken from the parking lot of the Tropical Smoothie Café near West 73rd Avenue and Federal Boulevard, according to Westminster Police.
